UCC Campus Carlsberg

Multifunctional complex Calsberg Byen is located in central Copenhagen, its total area is 80 000 square meters. Former Carlsberg brewery area has been transformed into a lively town of education and science organisations, homes, as well as administrative and commercial buildings. Plans call for a total of 567,000 square meters to be built in the area in the coming 15 to 20 years.

The UCC campus is centrally located approximately 3 km west of Copenhagen city centre. With state of the art auditoriums and facilities for smaller workshops and digital solutions, the campus provides excellent facilities for ECER 2017. UCC Campus Carlsberg consists of two seven-storey buildings connected by roofed bridges. Conference rooms and lecture halls are distributed throughout the two buildings. All rooms are, thus, within a short walking distance, and all conference activities will take place in a limited area ensuring a dynamic atmosphere and easy access for participants.

KG Constructions was responsible for the main building Karréen facades, for a more than 10 000 square meters:
