This administrative building, being developed in the northern part of Stockholm, will be used by the Church of Sweden. This project is unique, because, in contrast to traditional construction with cross-laminated timber, where the assembly of building constructions, insulation, facade finishing and window installing are carried out on the contruction site, this project was executed a bit differently.
Our specialists completely assembled wall elements at the factory, then delivered them to the construction site and assembled them there, which guaranteed a speedier execution and better quality.
The specialists designed channels for pipes and wires, airducts and built-in furniture. 90 % of timber slab area was used as the final interior finish, which provided the building with cosiness and distinctiveness. These days, because of the excellent physical and mechanical qualities of cross-laminated timber, buildings exceeding more than 70 meters are being designed and built.
